My apple cake is one that storm just loves and so do my kids. This is the time of year that I make it a few times a month. Its a big hit at the house and storm even takes it to his crew at work at times.
4 1/2 cups diced apples1/2 cup vegetable oil2 cups flour2 cups sugar3/4 cup chopped walnuts2 eggs2 teaspoons vanilla2 teaspoons baking soda 2 teaspoons cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon salt mix all of that and poor in a cake pan and bake for 1 hour and 15 min at 350. About 10 min b4 the cake is ready put half a cup of butter and one forth cup of milk and 1 cup brown sugar on the stove to cook. Bring to a boil for 3 min and poor on top of cake and let cook in the oven for 5 min. Take cake out to cool and eat.
